Finding Morgan

Friday Favorites - Features and Link Party

Happy Friday! We have been "fall cleaning" at my house, mainly trying to make our storage areas not look like an episode of Hoarders. Trent stumbled upon something ancient during The Culling of the Fourth Circle of Hell (AKA the garage) and was completely fascinated. Sadly, we may never know what wonder and mystery this 3.5" floppy disc contains, as we no longer own a computer that supports it. It feels so Lonesome George to me.

I feel old, but also thankful for the progress that has been made. Dial-Up internet is another thing that my kids have never had to tangle with. In a world of Netflix, Spotify and Pandora, they are so used to instant gratification. If they think of a song they want to hear, a movie they want to watch or a game they want to play, they have near instant access at their fingertips.

"What is this thing? It looks like some kind of old power source."

My dad is making Trent's Halloween costume and so far it looks amazing! I've got to give my old man major props, he really surprises me sometimes with how crafty he is. I remember being a kid and my Grandma making some of my Halloween costumes, such great memories. I'm so thankful that Trent gets to have that same experience. What are your kids (and you, if you're dressing up) going to be for Halloween?

Trent's Minecraft Steve costume is coming together.
Now on to the party! Here are my favorites from last week:
Sydney at Tastefully Frugal shared a recipe for these awesome S'Mores Candy Apples.
Amy at Home Remedies Rx shared instructions for making this Rustic, Framed Chalkboard.
Party Rules:
Link and linger with a new blog or a few new blogs. Please don't post and run, this is a party after all! :)
Link 1-3 of your projects- older projects work too! I would love for you to follow me on Facebook or Bloglovin'! Social media shout outs for the party are encouraged and appreciated!
